Psychology Session Length

Sessions are approximately 50 minutes in length.

Psychology Session Fees

Fees are set in accordance to recommended guidelines for Registered Psychologists in British Columbia. Psychology sessions provided to individuals are exempt from GST.

Extended Health Insurance or Third Party Coverage

Psychology sessions are not covered under the provincial Medical Services Plan.  Many extended health plans provide coverage for counselling or therapy sessions with a registered psychologist.  Please check with your insurance provider to determine the terms of your coverage. We do not offer direct billing to insurance plans. Following payment, a receipt for services will be provided, which can be used for insurance reimbursement and income tax purposes.

Letters and Reports

The time spent for the preparation of requested letters and reports will be billed at the regular session rate.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of appointment.  

Cancellations and Missed appointments

Please provide at least 48 hours' notice, or two business days, if you are unable to keep your appointment.  Your appointment time is reserved for you.  Missed appointments or cancellations for appointments received with less than 48 hours' notice will be billed at the full session rate.
